It’s done what was needed
I purchased this item to build a 22×56 pole barn. I have used it for MANY MANY other projects as well and have been very pleased to say the lease
Bostitch nailer
Works great. Used it to build a new loft in our shop, never missed a lick. Was greatly appreciated by all working on the project.
Excellent
Was in very good condition, anyone could tell it was not brand new. But only looked like it was a week old, barely any use. It came without oil which some other reconditioned units I previously purchased came with. Make sure you buy oil with the purchase if you don’t have any. Have not tried the metal connector attachment but have used this nailer for 2 weeks and it has been great. The depth adjustment, with only takes seconds to adjust, will even allow you to leave the nail head exposed 1/4″ or more so you can attached ledger boards and other items for easier removal later. Great tool for the price.
Could not tell it was reconditioned
This got to my house in typical Amazon fission (2 Days. I opened the box and inspected the tool and could not find any blemishes on it. There was a little oil on the side of it but that didn’t bother me. I took it out to the garage and added the fitting for the air hose. Loaded it and gave it a try. Fired correctly the first time and each additional time after that. Sunk the full head nails just below the surface of the OSB I was testing it on. Have not tried it with the joist hanger attachment yet but am sure it will meet my expectations. The one thing I would have liked is a case to put it in. I don’t like transporting or storing my tools without a case. Over all a good product made by a reliable company that I would recommend to the hobbyist or professional.
This is a great nailer
I love this nail gun it is everything I need in a framing nail gun
Bad to the bone
First time buyer of a framing gun. I got the package with the 6 gallon compressor. The gun is awsome, it didn’t come with instructions, but my buddy showed me how to use it. The nails are a little frusting to find, but they are out there. Once you load up the gun, it’s a home run everytime. Powerfull. the only thing I didn’t like was that the nails come in boxes of like 1,000, and they are a bit on the thin side. I always thought they should be thicker, and if thicker is available, none of the home centers carry it.
The gun needs to be oiled with nail gun oil, the depth is easily adjustable. i won’t set it to automatic as i have seen what could happen on you tube. I build a work bench in no time. Slam, slam, slam.. and it’s half built. the plastic collets disintegrate so they are not an issue, nor do they spit in your face as it has a 360 degree movable discharge shoot.
All in all, it’s a new gun, dosen’t look used at all. Great buy… always looking for something to build. thou lugging that 6 gallon compresser is a pain. BTW, 6 gallon compressor is more than enough to get off at least 12 shots before the motor goes off.
