Perfect from a DIYer’s point of view

I bought a couple Senco nailers about five years ago when I decided to build a storage building on my property. I have used the nailers for countless projects since. Quite simply, I could not possibly be happier. The price was excellent compared to other options, and it has worked flawlessly from day one. They are solidly built. I have dropped them from heights, kicked them around, etc.

Good nailer

I bought one of these about two years ago and have been very happy with it. It functions well and the nails are easy to find. Both Lowes and Home Depot carry the nails, so you don’t have to worry about running out mid-project. The only complaint I have is that it does seem a bit heavy. It’s not really an issue for me since I only use it occasionally, but if I were going to be using it on a regular basis, I’d check into the alternatives to see if I could find a lighter one.

Dependable

It works… every time. It punches all the nails appropriately and dependably, and feels comfortable in the hand. At the end of the day it gets a few drops of oil and that’s the end of the maintenance. Exactly what a tool should be and do.

Seems fine

I have had good luck w/ factory reconditioned tools from Amazon, and this seems to be no exception. It was very clean with no obvious use. I don’t know much about nail guns, but Senco is a top name, and it works as I would expect in the short time I have used it. My local Home center wants well over $200 for a new one. However, as with other reman tools, there is only a 1 year warranty instead of 3 years with a new tool, plus no case.

Hit the nail right on the head

I would like too say, that I am very pleased with my Senco Framepro 602 nailer. I was a little skeptical buying a factory reconditioned model. I couldn’t warrent paying the full price of a brand new one for as much as I use it. It really hit the nail on the head for the fence project I had started. My uncle had brought his and helped me one weekend and rather then keep asking him too come up so that I could use his nail gun, I decided too purchace one myself. What a lifesaver it is. I just wish I could have bought nails in a little smaller quantity. Most nails you find on the shelf are for the clipped head nail guns and the ironic part is the stores don’t sell the clipped head guns because they tend too jam more. Anyway, I am extremely happy with my senco purchace, thankyou

senco makes great nailers and the reconditioned ones are just as good as the brand new ones.

Good Nail Gun

 December 2, 2009
By Gerald F. Nelson

Product was received in good condition and performed as expected. The only difficulty I had was in removing the nails from the magazine to change nail size. This was due to the way the gun is designed and until I located the proper release lever on the pusher I was scratching my head. ( it has been years since I used a framing nailer) This is not a lightweight gun and overhead work can be tiring, but it drves a 16 size nail with ease and makes short work of large nailing projects.
