Customer Reviews
No hastle, easy to change nail sizes, great tool
I had owned this framing nailer for about four years. I have been renovating my own home, and more recently a rental property we purchased. This tool has ALWAYS preformed flawlessly. The exaust can easily be redirected so when you have to change positions, or fit the nailer into a tigher space, you can always redirect the exaust way from your face. The method for changing nail sizes/lengths couldn’t be easier. You open the coil cover and squeese a release (right where you will be inserting the nails anyway), moving the nail “floor” up or down to the preset notches. Lengths are clearly marked so you can quickly get the coil set to the correct nail length. This nailer has NEVER given me any problems. I couldn’t be happier with it.
It handles a wide range of nails. I have used them all, saving me the need to buy a second smaller nailer for siding projects I’ve done.
I will be buying another one soon. Someone broke into my renovation project home and liberated this one from me.
Paid for itself
I got this nailer in 2004. As a carpenter working on a variety of projects, this nailer saves a lot of time. No changing guns or waiting for someone else to finish their task. Goes from firring to framing to sheathing in nothing flat. I’ve shot thousands of boxes of nails through it. Had to replace the exhaust cap gasket four times. They’re about $15.00 apiece and easy to do. Four hex screws. Don’t over lubricate. I’ve never had it in the shop; all repairs were minor and done in the field. Love this gun.
